Our baby sign language program shows your baby how to communicate using natural gestures which are instinctual and simple to learn. Combined with some AUSLAN signs, these signs provide an avenue for your child to talk with you before they are physically able to talk. The Story of how Baby Signs become Worldwide Movement
Baby Sign Language became popular worldwide when Drs. Linda Acredolo and Susan Goodwyn found out in 1982, that babies spontaneously used simple hand gestures to represent words. Words such as blowing for 'hot', raising their arms for 'up' and sniffing their fingers for 'flower'. Excited by this finding they went about exploring how they could help this simple form of baby communication along. [more]
