The Story of how Baby Signs become Worldwide Movement
Baby Sign Language became popular worldwide when Drs. Linda Acredolo and Susan Goodwyn found out in 1982, that babies spontaneously used simple hand gestures to represent words. Words such as blowing for 'hot', raising their arms for 'up' and sniffing their fingers for 'flower'.
