Baby Signs with Tamara - Baby Signs Brisbane

Welcome to Baby Signs Brisbane. I am Tamara Hamilton, your Certified Instructor for the Baby Signs® Program. I am delighted to deliver parent workshops and classes in Brisbane city and inner west suburbs.

I was introduced to Baby Signs® program when my first child Bobby was 8 months old. After reading the book and learning about the many benefits of communicating with my baby, we began our signing journey.

Bobby loved watching the DVD’s and through simply incorporating these signs in our everyday tasks, he could sign "all done""more", and "duck" by 10 months. By 15 months he had a large repertoire of signs and I noticed in comparison to other children his age, he was calmer and seemed less frustrated- simply by being able to communicate his needs. By 18 months his verbal language took off and people still continue to be amazed at his vast vocabulary-all which I attribute to this amazing program.

Now as a mother of 12 month old Sam, I am once again making signing a part of our life. The best part is that my second son has the best teacher ever, his big brother. Signing has helped to build a bond between all of us and it has given big brother Bobby an important role in helping mummy.

My passion for this program and being able to enrich the parent/child bond drove me to become an Independent Certified Instructor. I have seen the positive results first hand and I want to share them with other families.
