The Baby Signs® Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Training helps child care programs of any —big or small—begin enjoying the benefits of incorporating signing into daily interactions between babies, infants and educators.
Three levels of ECE training are available, each lasting 2 to 3 hours.
Your staff will learn the WHAT, WHY, WHEN, and HOW of the Baby Signs® Program. Educators will learn about the research behind the program, why it works, when to start, and how to choose and teach signs. A Baby Signs® Certified Instructor will come to your centre to present the training and teach caregivers how to use the resource materials.
Level 1: Includes the Introductory Training Workshop that teaches caregivers everything they need to get started with signing in the classroom. Plus BASIC Classroom Kit (below).
Level 2: Includes the Introductory Training Workshop from Level 1 plus a follow-up Inservice Workshop to ensure successful implementation of the Baby Signs® Program in your centre. Plus the BASIC Classroom Kit (below).
Level 3: Includes the Introductory Training Workshop from Level 1, the Inservice Workshop from Level 2 plus Advanced Training session that is tailored to the specific needs of your centre. Advanced Training session has seven different options to choose from and Independent Instructors will work alongside centres to determine the individual needs of the centres. Plus the BASIC Classroom Kit (below).

The three levels of training that centres can choose from all include the Basic Classroom Kit:

BASIC Classroom Kit or Option of MORE
Centres will receive the Basic Classroom Kit as part of their training, though the Baby Signs® team recognise that centres may want or need more resources. This is why the STANDARD Classroom Kit and the Deluxe Classroom Kit (below) have been created as optional resources to replace the BASIC Classroom Kit.
If you would like to know about the Educator's Training you can contact your local Independent Certified Instructor or use our enquiry form below.
