Baby Signs Australia is seeking passionate and dedicated people to share the Baby Signs® Program with parents and educators as a Consultant or Independent Certified Instructor.

As a Baby Signs® Consultant / Instructor, you will enjoy meeting and sharing with parents and caregivers our exciting Baby Signs ® program.

This thrilling home-based business opportunity is available to anyone who is interested in working with children and families to share the benefits of signing with infants and toddlers.

How would we best describe a Certified Consultant/Instructor?

We would describe an Consultan or Instructor as is a active individual involved not only involved in their own family interests but also their community and, frequently, in a vocation outside their Baby Signs® business. They would ideally own their own business or are willing to create one with proof of public liability insurance, appropriate state 'working with child checks' and a Australian Business Number.

Commonly, a Baby Signs ® Consultant or Instructor a number of things, a baby signing parent, a special needs teacher, speech therapist, occupational therapist, child psychologist, midwife, paediatric nurse, youth worker or member of another health or education profession, either by current or voluntary employment. They are also generally people who have used signs in their profession or at home with their baby or babies.

They are people who care about children and families and want to promote the Baby Signs® Program and products because they believe strongly in the values of Baby Signs® movement. They are also keen to supplement their current income in a positive way.

What is the difference between a Consultant and an Instructor?

A Consultant will deliver the Parent Workshop, Potty Party Presentation™ and Sign, Say & Play™ Classes in the convenience of people's homes. People will book a Consultant and Baby Signs Australia will let Consultants know.

An Instructor is someone who delivers the whole range of classes, workshops and training to people in their community. They make the arrangements for the training and purchase the Baby Signs® products at wholesale prices.

What is involved when training to becoming an Independent Certified Consultant/Instructor?

Once someone is invited to become an ICC or ICI and has accepted the terms required of being part of the Baby Signs® team, their training will be a self-paced training, which depending on your time and commitment can be completed in just a few days.

What is involved in the Consultant/Instructor Self-paced Training?

It is an advanced, self-paced, distance-learning training that provides all the necessary resources such as ready-to-teach curricula, business administration documents, marketing documents, ICC/ICI training DVD, training CD clips (including resources needed to conduct workshop and classes).
